A wanted Drogheda feud gang member has been seen on camera refereeing a bare knuckle fight on a UK golf green.
Mark Kavanagh, 34, who has been described in a High Court affidavit as a ‘prominent member of the Price-Maguire Organised Crime Gang’ fled to the UK during the height of the deadly Drogheda feud as he is a main target for the rival faction.
That feud - between associates of mob boss Owen Maguire and members of the Anti-Maguire faction - claimed four lives including that of 17-year-old Keane Mulready-Woods.

Now, a video has emerged of Kavanagh acting as a referee in a bare knuckle fight on a golf course in the UK.
The five minute video of the bare knuckle fight takes place on the green of the golf course while other golfers drive by in a golf buggy.
As golfers drive by, Kavanagh, wearing a grey tracksuit, is heard shouting to them “We’re giving it five minutes.”
And during the fight, Kavanagh is heard on video telling the fighters “Push it out there lads, push it out,” and “watch the flag” as the boxers get too close to the hole.
When one of the boxers stumbles after being hit, Kavanagh jumps in and directs the other boxer to move away.
A male is heard telling Kavanagh to “get him up” before Kavanagh saying “Wait, you said it was fair.”
“It was a fair fight, he said he’d done. It was a fair fight,” Kavanagh is heard saying before having to push back one of the boxers tries to continue the fight.
Kavanagh is wanted by gardai and has outstanding live district court warrants for his arrest which were issued within ten months in 2020.
One of the warrants is for Kavanagh, of Yellowbatter in Drogheda, to be sentenced for being in possession of €400 worth of cocaine while the second warrant is for the thug to be sentenced for his fourth no insurance offence.
Kavanagh fled to the UK during a wave of violence in the Co Louth town during the height of the feud as he is a main target for the so-called Anti-Maguire faction.
While in the UK he ended up being charged along with now deceased gang boss Cornelius Price for conspiracy to kidnap and blackmail two brothers there.
Kavanagh faced a trial earlier this year along with five others including Limerick gangster Ger Dundon.
Kavanagh was acquitted by the jury while Dundon was found guilty of his role in the conspiracy to kidnap and blackmail the brothers and was jailed for 15 years last month.
Thug Kavanagh, who in 2019 had 27 previous convictions, was given a two month suspended sentence in March 2019 for being in possession of a steel baseball bat and two large pickaxe handles, made for causing injury to a person.
