Western Sydney Wanderers chief executive John Tsatsimas will step down from his role at the end of the A-League Men season.
Tsatsimas has been with the Wanderers since their inception, working as the club's chief operating officer during their first A-League title in the 2012-13 season.
In his first few months as CEO of the club, the Wanderers won the 2014 Asian Champions League.
Despite being credited with helping grow the club's off-field infrastructure, the past five years have been seen as underwhelming with Tsatsimas overseeing the departure of five separate head coaches.
The Wanderers have not played finals in that time and calls have grown from the club's support base for him to quit amid their consistent on-field failures.
Tsatsimas claimed personal reasons had contributed to his decision to depart.
"After 10 years as a collective we have built this club into something that most other sporting organisations can only dream of," he said.
"To the fans, although the road has been undulating at times, this is your club and please continue to support it to the very end."
