Walmart worker reveals two things you should never do to employee - but customers rebel

A Walmart employee has given a stern warning to customers - and revealed the two things they should never do to a worker in the aisles. When you need to ask a member of staff something, it can be hard to know when the most appropriate time is and who is the best point of contact.

It can be a minefield when navigating a story - and now one worker at the American chain of stores has give some very strict rules on what you can and can't do. In a viral TikTok that has been viewed by millions, user 'cottoncandy1016' has pleaded with customers to not approach employees when they have big shopping baskets.

In the video, the TikTok user starts by saying: "Listen, when you shopping at Walmart and you see an employee with these right here, it's two things you don’t do.”

She points to the big baskets that Walmart employees use to pick out items for customers who have ordered online.

The picker has to collect products from the shelves, just like anyone else entering the store does, then bag them up to be ready to be delivered.

Revealing the two things that a customer should never do, the worker says: "Don't stop them while they're picking.

"And don't jump in front of them."

In the caption to the video, she added: "We have to pick at 100 or more percent #dontdoit #workingwoman"

The clip caused quite a stir online, with many people flooding into the comments section to disagree with what the Walmart worker was saying.

Many turned the tables to say the online pickers were actually getting in the way of customers and not the other way round.

"Every time I’m in WalMart those workers block all the aisles to where I can’t shop for myself!," one person wrote in the comments section.

Another agreed: "And y'all please don't get in my way cuz I'm picking for me."

"Man you guys are ALWAYS in my way. When you see customers shopping STAY OUT OF OUR WAY," argued a third.

However, there were a few people who were on the same side as the Walmart employee and came to her defence.

One person wrote: "This comment section just further proves everyone needs to work in food/retail at least once. The entitlement is beyond me."

"OMG! I yelled at my husband for asking a question. No. Don’t. She’s shopping for someone. Do not disturb!!," said another

A third added: "Certain people in these comments don't seem to understand that any e-commerce job is more than just picking. They time you for everything."
