Wales have been dealt what boss Rob Page will consider a favourable draw for Euro 2024 qualifying after avoiding any of Europe's real powerhouses.
The draw, made in Frankfurt on Sunday morning, has pitched Wales with Croatia, Turkey, Armenia and Latvia in Group Four.
They will be happy at avoiding the likes of Germany, Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands, while Wales couldn't meet Italy or England as those two finalists last time out were in the same second group of seeds as Page's men.
Croatia, as always, will be a tough nut to crack and Wales have yet to beat them in six meetings at international level. But with their talisman Luka Modric in his 38th year, Wales will be quietly confident of ending that duck.

Croatia and Wales were locked together in qualifying for the last Euros, with the former topping the group. They previously clashed in the race for the 2014 World Cup when Croatia again came out on top.
Wales pulled Armenia from the third pot of seeds, which they will consider one of the less arduous options. Wales have met the Armenians twice previously, drawing each time, but will strongly back their chances of winning when they meet for these Euros.
However, by contrast Turkey were perhaps as tough a team as they could pull from the fourth seeds. That said, Wales have a decent record against the Turks and beat them famously 2-0 during the last Euro tournament.
Latvia, the side Wales pulled from pot five of seeds, represent new opposition at competitive level. Wales have only met them once, a 2-0 friendly win back at the beginning of the century.
The top two teams in each group automatically qualify for the tournament - which takes place in Germany. The matches run from March to November next year, with a fixture schedule to be worked out shortly, while the play-offs take place in March 2024, shortly before the Euro finals commence.
Wales, of course, have qualified for the last two Euros. They memorably reached the semi-finals in France in 2016 and were knocked out by Denmark in the round of 16 last time out.
The finals will take place in June and July 2024.
