Leon is a "naturally fast-food" restaurant and this restaurant will be their first opening outside of Wales. Currently included on the Leon menu are crispy Korean chicken wrap, gluten-free chicken nuggets, sweet potato falafel wrap, rice boxes, burgers, and baked waffle fries.
The fast food chain was created in 2004 and its menu "is inspired by the flavours, variety and natural healthiness of the Mediterranean diet." They want to make "it easier for everybody to eat well, live well and be kind to the planet."
The opening of Leon is not the only new exciting opening in Wales with artisan ice cream chain Swoon Geltato opening in Cardiff in February 2023. The shop will open in Duke Street Arcade on Saturday, February 11.
The parlour will offer not only beautifully crafted gelato made with natural ingredients from traditional methods and in an abundance of flavours but specialty desserts and Italian coffee too. Founded by Bruno Forte in 2016, Swoon is a family affair that is run by Bruno himself his wife Ana Maria, his sister Patricia and his mother Louise.
