Wales footballer Aaron Ramsey showed his romantic side off the field when he surprised his wife with a special Valentine's lunch.
The midfielder, who recently signed for Scottish club Rangers, hired out an entire Cardiff restaurant to treat Colleen.
The exclusive Cora restaurant, in Pontcanna, Cardiff, normally only has tables for 12 guests, but it was an even more intimate setting for two as the rest of the tables were cleared for the special lunch on Monday.
Restaurant owner Lee Skeet shared a picture of the couple's visit on his Instagram page saying: "What a pleasure it was today helping Wales captain Aaron Ramsey surprise his wife with a romantic Valentine's lunch at the restaurant."
He also thanked @glittertots "for arranging everything and making the dining room look fantastic".
Childhood sweethearts Aaron and Colleen got married in 2014 in a plush ceremony at Caldicot Castle after attending Ysgol Gyfyn Cwm Rhymni, near Blackwood, together.
They have three children, including twins who were born in 2018, and have a home on the outskirts of Cardiff.
Cora is run by Lee, a chef who trained under Gordon Ramsay and Marcus Wareing and was head chef at the Michelin-starred Hedone, who took some time out of cooking before finding his love for the profession again during lockdown.
He single-handedly cooks each lunch and dinner using just one hob and hot plate. Read our rave review of the exclusive spot here.
Lee explained: "My cooking career was abruptly ended in 2017, when I was severely injured in a hit and run, leaving me unable to work, and out of the kitchen for four years.
"During the pandemic - with no income and living alone - I began to consider cooking again. I bought a table and six chairs, and the Bones Supper Club was born.
"In my living room I cooked for just one table each lunch and dinner, serving a set tasting menu and slowly rediscovering my love for cooking again.
"The supper club was a huge success and was sold out for six months. I began to believe maybe I could cook as a career again and I set out to get my own restaurant."
