Waitrose has finally announced it will bring back its free hot drink offer for members of its loyalty scheme.
The offer launches from November 7 for myWaitrose card holders in 311 stores.
Through the deal, customers can get their hands on a free americano, latte and cappuccino, or cup of tea.
But there's a catch - you'll need to bring your own cup to avoid being charged £4 for a reusable one.
The supermarket is partnering up with Caffè Nero to relaunch the scheme.
It means shoppers will receive coffee supplied by beans made with the Nero Roasting Company.
Those who benefit will be limited to one drink every day when they complete a purchase at Waitrose.
MyWaitrose members will also get 20% off Caffè Nero "coffee at home" products both in-store and online between November 7 and 30.
The range will allow shoppers to purchase premium capsules, ground coffee and whole bean coffee.
The free hot drink offer was originally launched back in 2013, but had to be put on pause during the pandemic.
After a successful trial this summer, the supermarket has decided to bring the deal back.
Charlotte Di Cello, Commercial Director for Waitrose explained: “Our customers loved the myWaitrose free coffee offer, so we’re really excited to bring it back, with premium beans from The Nero Roasting Company.
“The partnership is an ideal fit, helping customers enjoy quality coffee both in store or at home - with even more benefits in the pipeline.”
Like the previous offer, shoppers will be asked to use their own cups to prevent unnecessary waste.
The coffee will be made using free-range dairy sourced from grass-fed cows.
No minimum spend applies to the in-store purchase, and non-myWaitrose members will also be able to purchase drinks - with tea from £2.25 and coffees from £2.35.
Will Stratton-Morris, CEO for Caffè Nero UK, said: “We are really pleased to be partnering with Waitrose. Both brands are built on offering high quality premium products to customers with great service.
“It feels like a natural collaboration, and we’re delighted to be able to bring our roasting and blending technical expertise of the Nero Roasting Company to Waitrose as well as offer Caffè Nero’s “coffee at home” retail products to Waitrose customers.
“There are huge possibilities with this partnership and it’s exciting to see where it can go.”
