Julius Johansen (Den) UAE Team Emirates-XRG on the podium wearing the leader's jersey after the Volta a Portugal prologue.

UAE Team Emirates-XRG dominated the prologue of the Volta a Portugal on Wednesday, with Julius Johansen taking the stage win and race lead ahead of teammate Rui Oliveira.

Oliveira finished four seconds behind the Dane in the 6.5km test, with Rafael Reis (Anicolor/Campicarn) third at seven seconds. UAE's Luca Giaimi finished fourth two seconds further down on the new race leader.
