President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he is “convinced” that the Russian invasion of Ukraine will end via diplomacy but victory “will be bloody”.
Speaking in a televised interview alongside his wife Olena to mark the third anniversary of his inauguration, Mr Zelensky said the war could only end at the negotiating table but that his troops had already “broken the backbone” of the Russian army.
