Vogue Williams has claimed Boy George reached out to her over reports of a "personal grudge" ahead of his appearance on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity.
The Irish model had worked with the singer on Virgin Media's reality series The Big Deal. She previously revealed on her podcast “My Therapist Ghosted Me” that she was the only cast member Boy George did not follow on social media, sparking rumours of a rift.
Vogue’s comments clearly didn’t fall on deaf ears, as she told co-host Joanne McNally the ‘Karma Chameleon’ singer had reached out to her over the claims they shared a personal grudge. The Howth native claimed that George wanted to squash the rumours that they were feuding ahead of his new TV appearance.

Vogue told listeners: “Obviously the back story is Joanne and I were joking saying that Boy George doesn’t follow us, which he doesn’t. And we said we had beef with him and he mailed me saying, ‘I have got no beef with you,’ and it was a little bit embarrassing.”
Joanne agreed with Vogue’s assessment, admitting that they had behaved “immaturely” with their podcast remarks. Joanne also disclosed on the previous episode that Boy George did not follow her on social media, despite the pair working together on numerous TV shows.
Vogue was the main presenter of The Big Deal in 2021, which featured famous faces such as Boy George, Ashton Merrygold and Jedward. Contestants had the option of either taking a cash prize and depart the show or gamble by performing in the finals for the overall €50,000 prize.
