Vogue Williams loves this probiotic supplement so much that she decided to invest in it

Chances are you’ve probably heard of the words ‘gut microbiome’ before. If not, it refers to the microorganisms living in your gut that can help keep your immune system healthy and stave off diseases such as gastrointestinal disorders, cardiovascular disease and even some cancers.

Yet, there are several things that can throw your gut health off balance, such as a lack of sleep, high stress levels, consumption of processed and high-sugar foods and some antibiotics too.

Signs of poor gut health include gas, bloating, indigestion, unintentional weight changes, constant fatigue, and food intolerances such as lactose intolerance.

If you have noticed any of these signs and symptoms that your gut health may not be balanced, one of the easiest ways to boost it back to good health is by taking a probiotic.

According to the NHS, probiotics are live bacteria that can help to restore the natural balance of bacteria in your stomach and intestines, and it says that there is some evidence to suggest probiotic supplements could help ease symptoms for people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

A new study from Heights of its Smart Probiotic found that it delivered 50 times more bacteria alive and active to the colon when compared to some of the UK’s most popular liquid probiotic, greens powder and standard capsule probiotic.

Heights’ Smart Probiotic is a high-impact, vegan formula that delivers 20 billion (yes, billion) colony-forming units (CFU) in its single daily capsule. These CFUs are what help sustain the presence of healthy bacteria in the gut. So they’re pretty important.

The probiotic was developed by scientists and dieticians over a two-year span and degrades nine times slower compared to standard capsules which is why so much of the good bacteria is able to reach the places in the gut it needs to go.

When Vogue Williams’ husband, Spencer Matthews met with the founder of Heights, she was so impressed by the probiotic that the 37-year-old decided to become an investor in the company.

“Gut health is really important because if your gut is healthy, then everything else will be too,” Williams said in an Instagram video posted in July.

“I’ve taken a few probiotics in the past and I have only recently learned that most of them undergo no testing, so you don’t even know if they’re going to work,” she added. “The Smart Probiotic actually works. It’s been tested and all of the good stuff goes straight to your gut.”

It’s not just Williams who is raving about these probiotics either. The product has over 200 five-star reviews with some commenters saying they’ve seen ‘great’ results after just two months of taking the supplement, citing reduced bloating and increased energy as the main benefits.

Heights’ Smart Probiotics cost £50 for 30 capsules, or £40 per bottle when you subscribe.

Heights’ Smart Probiotic

Vogue Williams loved these probiotics so much she decided to invest in them. Heights’ Smart Probiotic has been proven to deliver 20 billion colony forming units (CFU) in each daily capsule, and its slow release design means more of these good bacteria are able to reach the gut than most other popular brands.

With over 200 five-star reviews, many have said they have noticed results fast, and said taking the probiotic has boosted their energy levels and reduced their bloating. Win-win.
