A penis-headed statue commemorating Russian tyrant Vladimir Putin as 'Bellend of the Year' has been installed in the village of Bell End.
The statue appeared on Thursday in the centre of the aptly named Worcestershire village as a mark of protest against the tyrant's invasion of Ukraine.
Eggs appeared alongside the statue which passers-by can throw at it.
The organiser of the protest, who wished to remain anonymous, said they needed to award somebody with the 'Bellend of the Year award".
"I thought there was one person who has universally been a bellend this year — and that’s Vladimir Putin," they said.
People willingly threw eggs at the statue, they said, adding that it had been "very well received".
Miniature version of the statue, which were made for the co-ordinator by two artists, will be sold in aid of a charity supporting Ukrainian refugees.
The organiser told the Sun Online : “I’ve seen over the course of the year the devastation that has happened in Ukraine and that so many lives have been displaced as a result of the war.
“So I thought, ‘I really want to help out and try to raise some money.’”
The statue of Putin was erected just a day after a prominent pro-Putin MP and military expert called for a direct attack on London.
Retired Lt-Gen Andrey Gurulev told viewers on a Russian state TV propaganda show that he has for four months advocated a missile onslaught on Britain.
“You don't have to [strike] Washington first - it's too far away,” he said. "London is next door….
“In Europe, London is the main hotbed of all nastiness…”
Political scientist Vitaly Tretyakov quizzed him: “So you seriously say that it is necessary to strike London?”
Gurulev claimed that the West was bent on seeing Ukraine attack Moscow.
The military MP said: “Do you seriously think that it is necessary to strike Moscow? And [Ukraine and the West] are serious about it…
“So why are we embarrassed to say that we should strike London…?
“I am not saying that we should demolish everyone.
“We should destroy critical facilities - control centres, military bases, and airfields."
The military MP continued: "A strike on London, strange as it may sound, would be the first and last warning to the [real decision-makers - Washington].”
