Russia has issued a chilling threat to the rest of the Western world - as officials in Moscow warned there would be a tough military response to any further attack on Russian territory.
They accused the United States and its key allies of undermining European security by openly inciting Ukraine to assault Russia.
Vladimir Putin's forces have been attacking Ukrainian cities since February 24 and have killed thousands of people and displaced millions more.
