Vladimir Putin’s “lover” has been seen in public for the first time since she was outed by Western governments as being linked to the Russian tyrant.
Alina Kabaeva, the 39-year-old Olympic gold-winning rhythmic gymnast rumoured to have a hidden family with the Kremlin leader, was spotted in Black Sea resort Sochi at a rhythmic gymnastics training camp with 28 children.
Ms Kabaeva did not comment on the sanctions, nor her private life.
