Vladimir Putin's car was allegedly attacked in a possible assassination attempt in response to the Ukraine war, an unconfirmed source has claimed. The Russian president was travelling by limousine when there was allegedly a "loud bang" from its left front wheel before the vehicle was consumed by heavy smoke.
Putin was uninjured and the car was able to be driven to safety, however there have been several arrests made on his security service. Other bodyguards have fled amid claims that confidential information regarding the Kremlin leader's movements was compromised, the General SVR Telegram channel reports.
In a separate post, the same unidentified source claims that Putin had demanded his lover Alina Kabaeva, 39, a former Olympic gymnast, to have an abortion, leading to a “worsening” of their relations. It is not yet possible to verify either of the claims, according to the Mirror.
