Vishwakarma Puja 2026 Puja Vidhi
Devotees traditionally begin the day by taking a bath and wearing clean clothes. The place of worship is then cleaned before the puja is started.
A wooden chowki can be covered with a clean yellow or red cloth, after which the idol or picture of Lord Vishwakarma is placed on it. Gangajal may be sprinkled around the place of worship. Tools and equipment used for work are also cleaned and kept ready for the ritual.
Flowers, garlands, akshat and roli are offered to Lord Vishwakarma. Devotees may also apply tilak and akshat to their tools and machinery.
