Virus cases jump in South Australia

South Australia

More than 130 people are in hospital with COVID as SA records its highest daily tally since January. (AAP)

Daily COVID-19 cases have almost doubled in South Australia over the past two days, taking infection rates to a two-month high.

SA Health on Thursday reported 4474 new infections, the highest daily total since 4685 were recorded on January 17.
