Liverpool FC's Virgil van Dijk was spotted working at a Liverpool McDonald's drive-thru handing out McFlurry ice creams.
There were crowds of people and video cameras as the Dutch footballer, who plays centre-back for Liverpool FC, was seen in McDonalds in Kirkby. He was seen assisting staff who were working in the drive-thru windows.
As people in the store noticed who was behind the counter fans waved at the defender, who gave them a thumbs up and said hello. Children gathered in groups outside the kitchen windows to get a glimpse of the football star.

At one point Virgil was seen holding a tray of over a dozen McFlurry treats which he served to people in the drive-thru queue. Earlier this year Virgil took part in an event with McDonald's Fun Football in Liverpool ONE.
He sat reading books to young fans outside Byron Burger on Monday, April 10. Pictures taken by an ECHO reader showed the footballer sat behind a plastic sheet reading with children.
McDonald's Fun Football, provides hundreds of free football sessions to give children from every background, gender and ability, the opportunity to enjoy the game. Past special guests at events in other locations have included Aaron Ramsdale, Georgia Stanway, Gareth Southgate and Jack Rutter. The sessions also saw children being given free books and footballs.
