Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has made a request to Liverpool fans for Tuesday's game against Manchester United.
United and Liverpool head into the match with contrasting fortunes. United just about managed to beat Norwich 3-2 at the weekend thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo's hat-trick while Liverpool progressed to the FA Cup final after beating Manchester City.
Ralf Rangnick's side have been eliminated from all cup competitions, but Liverpool are in contention to win the quadruple as the campaign reaches the latter stages. United find themselves 19 points behind Liverpool in the Premier League, but despite the obvious gulf in quality between the two sides, these fixtures don't always go by the form book.

Van Dijk has warned the United match will be 'intense' and the defender urged Liverpool fans to support their team.
"I’ve played almost over 50 games this season so that is something I won’t take for granted," Van Dijk told reporters.
"I just want to keep it going, stay fit, win games and see what it brings and get ready for the World Cup as well.
"Normally in the first six months of the season you play every three days but you don’t play the biggest opponents every three days but it is something you should enjoy, something we should all enjoy.
"The game on Tuesday [against United] is going to be intense against our rivals, we need the fans as well to be here with us, just enjoy it and we will give it everything. That’s what we can promise until the end of the season and whatever happens we will see."
