ADELAIDE: Virat Kohli's return among the runs at the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia fetched him another world record as he became the top scorer in the T20 World Cup history during India's Group 2 match against Bangladesh in Adelaide on Wednesday.
When Virat hit his 16th run en route to his unbeaten half-century, he went past former Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene's 1016 runs in T20 World Cups. This was also Kohli's third half-century of this edition of the tournament in four matches.
