Viral video shows Edinburgh workmen trying to lift parked van blocking tram tracks

Edinburgh Newhaven Leith

A funny video showing a group of workmen trying to lift a parked van stuck in front of an Edinburgh tram has gone viral on social media.

A tram on the new Newhaven to Leith line became trapped for around 20 minutes behind the parked white Transit.

The tram was unable to squeeze past, the second similar incident on the same road a few weeks ago when trams were being tested on the new route.
