A funny video showing a group of workmen trying to lift a parked van stuck in front of an Edinburgh tram has gone viral on social media.
A tram on the new Newhaven to Leith line became trapped for around 20 minutes behind the parked white Transit.
The tram was unable to squeeze past, the second similar incident on the same road a few weeks ago when trams were being tested on the new route.
The humorous video shows three workmen attempting to lift the van by hand, reports Edinburgh Live.
One person replied to the video and said: "You really reap what you sow! They could have just done away with the parking spots, but nobody wants to upset the motoring mob."
A second said: "I couldn't get my cat to the vet and had to pay an uber to take me. Not what I wanted on top of the vet bill."
On June 2, a tram had to be guided past another parked van during a trial run of the line. Edinburgh Trams said it was an isolated incident and they thought it was unlikely the same issue would cause problems again.
A spokesperson said on June 2: "Since we started running trams between Picardy Place and Newhaven as part of testing and commissioning, this is the first incident of its kind.
Hence, it has also occasionally happened on the current network and has been dealt with successfully by our Service Delivery team.
"Therefore, we are confident that incidents like this will not represent an issue in the future once we launch services to Newhaven."
The company was contacted by Edinburgh Live about the most recent incident.
