Scottish Premiership champions Celtic are among those potential suitors and have an 'in' due to their close working relationship with Manchester City. Vinicius is owned by the City Group and is currently under contract with their feeder side Lommel, despite spending last season on loan at Mechelen.
And now it appears a further boost as presented the Glasgow giants with multiple reports in Turkey suggesting William Carvalho is their top target to fill the breach in midfield. The Betis enforcer – capped 73 times by his country – is expected to be on the move this summer. Fener's interest in Vinicius hasn't fizzled out but it appears they are prioritising Portuguese Carvalho.
