CELTIC'S reported pursuit of Brazilian midfielder Vinicius Souza has taken another twist with the player ready to wait on his next move.
The Lommel SK player - owned by the City Football Group - shared a message on social media suggesting his next move might require some patience.
But it comes as reports claim Celtic have issued a warning that they're not prepared to be left hanging on in the hope for a deal.
Ange Postecoglou has been linked with a move for the Brazilian, 23, as he loos to add some grit to his midfielder ranks.
And with City Football Group owning the player - who is said to be training with Man City - there are connections with Parkhead.
Reports claim Celtic are still keen on a deal for Souza to move to Glasgow, but have stated they'll look elsewhere instead of being left waiting on a decision.
The Daily Record claim the club and the player's reps are still in talks but that Celtic are looking for an answer one way or the other.
It's claimed the club will shift their focus to a new target if no final decision is reached very soon.
It comes as Souza updated his Instagram with a message suggesting he could wait for the right move.
Sharing an image with text on his story, it read: "Everything has its time".
And the player added: "Amen thank you God".
Postecoglou has already sealed permanent deals for Cameron Carter-Vickers, Jota and Daizen Maeda this summer.
He has also bolstered his goalkeeping options with Benji Siegrist joining from Dundee United upon the expiry of his contract.
