A care assistant at a private nursery who made vile comments to a tot has been turfed out the profession.
Vile Vikki Blair was the subject of a damning report, savaging the way children looked, sneaking looks at confidential material and calling colleagues names.
The most abhorrent thing she said was in May last year, when she told a wee one, known as AA, : “What a f***ing m**go”.
Blair, in her 20s, had worked at the Rivendale Nursery in Bridge of Weir for around four years.
Management said they acted decisively as soon as they were made aware of the allegations against her, she was suspended before being fired.
One one occasion she said a child ‘BB’ looked “like she has down syndrome, like the face and that.”
Another youngster, known as ‘DD’ was described by Blair as having “her hair it’s like handlebars, why would they dress her like that”.
Meanwhile she would refer to her workmates as a “m**g,” “f***ing m**go” and “s**z”.
Blair, who lives in the Bridge of Weir area, was removed from the professional register on Saturday.
It followed a Scottish Social Services Council hearing which deemed she was unfit to practice.
The tribunal also discovered she had opened the manager’s folder and read confidential information about a child and told a colleague.
The Rivendale Nursery in Bridge of Weir is part of a family chain of eight run by award-winning Collin Care Nurseries.
It is highly respected and has operated in the village since 1998.
Director Crawford Collin said: “As soon as I was made aware of this she was suspended.
“I led an investigation as to what had gone on and when the evidence was collected she was dismissed immediately.
“All the relevant agencies were informed.
“We took swift action on it and the Scottish Social Services Council have done the same thing.
“It was a very unfortunate and unsavoury situation.”
The Scottish Social Services Council said: “Social service workers are expected to communicate with people who use services and their colleague in an appropriate way.
“You stated “what a f***ing m**go” in reference to and in the presence of a child in your care.
