Viktor Hovland heroics ignite early European charge at Ryder Cup

World No 4 Viktor Hovland was proving to be the star for Europe in the early stages of the Ryder Cup in Rome.

In the second match out, he chipped in from the fringe to birdie the first and when he holed a 20-footer at the second he and rookie Ludvig Aberg went two up.
