The Vikings Group has won its battle to build a new club just outside the ACT despite the local council voicing concerns and the application then being rejected after vigorous objections from the new venue's neighbours.
The business modified the proposal for what it called the Poplars Club in Jerrabomberra, and took the new plan to the New South Wales Land and Environment Court which has approved it but in a scaled-down version of the original.
