The Minnesota Vikings entered the game as a seven-point underdog and found a way to upset the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 22-17.
The start of the game was wild to say the least. Kirk Cousins threw an interception to Charvarius Ward that he ripped right out of the hands of Jordan Addison.
The 49ers repaid the Vikings back just five plays later as Camryn Bynum stripped Christian McCaffrey in the red zone. The Vikings then drove down 89 yards where Cousins found Addison for his first touchdown of the night.
The score was 16-7 at the half, but the final score might have been the true breakout of Addison. After Ward stole the ball early on, Addison returned the favor for a 60-yard touchdown to end the half.

Going into the second half, the Vikings and 49ers exchanged scores and was 22-17 going into last half of the fourth quarter. Brock Purdy threw a timing route to Jauan Jennings and mistimed it, allowing Camryn Bynum to get the interception and allow the Vikings to eat up clock.
The biggest play of the game was a third and three with less than three minutes to go. Cousins was pressured and the pocket collapsed, but he stepped up through it and found Addison for a big gain.
Cousins and Addison were excellent. Cousins finished 35-of-45 for 378 yards and two touchdowns and Addison caught seven passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns.
The play of the game came from the star of game in Camryn Bynum. Not only did he force the early fumble, Bynum intercepted Brock Purdy twice, including one to seal the game at the end.
Up next for the Vikings are division rival Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon.
