The Minnesota Vikings are getting a little bit healthier. The team announced that they have active the 21-day practice window for quarterback Nick Mullens.
Mullens, who has been on injured reserve for the last five weeks, has been out for six games due to a back injury that he suffered. In his place has been rookie quarterback Jaren Hall who started against the Atlanta Falcons.
Because of the injury, the Vikings ended up trading for Josh Dobbs and his success has helped catapult this team to a different level.
Upon Mullens’ return, he will be considered for the backup spot with rookie Jaren Hall, who is likely to practice this week after suffering a concussion against the Falcons.
