Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and Kevin O’Connell’s vision of a new era for the Minnesota Vikings is officially underway.
The first-year general manager and head coach worked hard to keep their roster intact as much as possible, while adding key veteran playmakers through free agency in an effort to give the team a better chance to win right away.
They also had a much-needed injection of youth, particularly on the defensive side of the ball, by wheeling and dealing their way to 10 rookies in the 2022 NFL draft.
The roster building isn’t completely finished yet, but we’re beginning to enter the phase where the team switches to prioritizing the on-field work in preparation for actual football games.
