The Minnesota Vikings have many needs that can be explored this offseason. The defensive line is one of the needs that isn’t talked about enough. The Vikings currently have two free agents in Dalvin Tomlinson and Jonathan Bullard with the latter likely to move on and play in the Vic Fangio defense again.
NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein believes that the Vikings should attack the defensive line with their first-round pick. He has them taking Georgia Tech defensive lineman Keion White.
White needs more game polish, but he’s big, strong and athletic. If his NFL team can continue to develop his traits at defensive end, White has a high ceiling.
The versatility that White brings will also be valuable to new defensive coordinator Brian Flores. He loves having players that can do multiple things on the field and at 280 lbs, White can play both inside and out. He would be a great 5-technique for the Vikings.
