This series will be your guide to the 2024 draft class. From scouting reports to mock drafts and exploring different scenarios, we will be covering the NFL draft and the future of the Minnesota Vikings from all angles.
The focus of the draft class in this space will be on the Vikings’ major needs at quarterback, running back, defensive line and edge rusher. We will also focus on wide receiver since it’s a loaded class and an increased chance to get a Stefon Diggs-type steal in the later rounds.
The Vikings are slated to have 9 picks going into the NFL draft and they need to make the most out of them.

Strengths
Displays excellent length as his 33 7/8″ arms would suggest. He uses them well when engaging with blockers on the edge and when rushing the passer. Pairs his length with accurate hands when punching to drive blockers off their spot.
Isaac is always looking to use his hands. He constantly swatting away at the hands of the blocker in front of him to prevent them from getting engaged.
In the run game, Isaac does a great job pursuing ball carriers down the line of scrimmage. He also stays patient with the read-option game
Weaknesses
Isaac doesn’t have a defined pass rush plan at this stage of his career. He understands how to use his length but often goes into the rep by running at the tackle and feeling indecisive.
How explosive is Isaac? He can get off the ball with a good first step but doesn’t seem to have great explosiveness to beat tackles around the edge.
Strength can be an issue for Isaac. He can get displaced by blockers on run plays and doesn’t hold up consistently at the point of attack.
