Viewers spot name blunder during ITV's Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebration

Last night saw the celebrations for Her Majesty the Queen's Platinum Jubilee kick off with an eclectic mix of entertainment (and lots of horses). But the TV show was criticised by viewers for being a bit 'shambolic'.

One such example came when actor Martin Clunes was giving a speech from the podium and the name underneath him read "Damian Lewis OBE" which of course, he was not. Other stars who paid tribute to the monarch included Andrew Lloyd Webber, Ant and Dec, Joan Collins and Mo Farah and there were also some musical treats in store, courtesy of Katherine Jenkins, Gregory Porter and Keala Settle..

But those who tuned into the special broadcast were left frustrated after noticing several editing mistakes, which included cutting a segment of the programme. Twitter user @Survivinthe20s said: "Now we've just jumped to Martin Clunes after the break, the flow is terrible, should have just showed it unedited."

@N0_confidence was equally unimpressed with the channel's editing of the event. They wrote: "Great - so we've missed huge chunks due to adverts. Well played ITV. They should have known this wasn't going to work."

Meanwhile, @jaimelondonboy complained: "ITV's coverage of the #PlatinumJubilee is pretty disappointing. I don't know whether it is live or not but if it is, the way the programme has been edited makes it feels not so live but more like short highlights. Too many ad breaks too."
