Two lads have been praised after they were captured making a heart-warming gesture whilst out trick or treating.
Viewers were left in tears after watching Ring doorbell footage posted by Jodie Laithy, who had left a bowl of Halloween sweets outside her home in Liverpool last night (October 31).
When she looked back at her camera later that evening, she spotted 'the cutest thing ever' as two young boys came to the door dressed in scary masks looking for treats.

The two boys approached the door wearing ski masks and rang Jodie's doorbell. After waiting for a few seconds, one of the boys notices an empty sweet bowl on a chair near the front door.
Video footage sent to The ECHO, shows the boy picking up the bowl and saying 'somebody has taken them [the sweets] before putting it back down.
He then immediately opens his plastic bag full of sweets and starts replacing the empty bowl with some of his own goodies. The boys turn to the Ring doorbell camera and wave before saying "happy Halloween".
Jodie shared the video on Facebook in hope of the boys' parents seeing the video and knowing "how amazing their children are". She said: "These kids actions were so cute. I hope their parents see it and are proud of them.
"We left a bowl of sweets out for the kids while we were out, and because it was empty they put some of their own sweets in it. I didn’t expect that from two young lads, amazing they are. And their little wave and 'happy Halloween' was the cutest thing ever."
The footage has already been shared hundreds of times on Facebook, with one woman saying it "made her cry".
Vicky Gallagher said: "Oh I hope their mums see this and feel so proud! This is the best, what a gorgeous pair of boys." Hayley Alf Sadie said: "Awww this made me cry."
