Viewers left in stitches after hilarious interview with comedian Jimeoin on Tommy Tiernan Show

Viewers of the Tommy Tiernan Show were left in stitches on Saturday night after English-born Irish comedian and actor, James Eoin Stephen Paul McKeown, better known as Jimeoin joined Tiernan for an interview.

On the show, the veteran comedians discussed their time in Australia, with Jimeoin remembering one event in particular that had viewers on the floor laughing.

“You had done a gig in Perth and you told me you had driven a car from Perth to Adelaide and hit a kangaroo,” Jimeoin told Tommy.

“Then I'm thinking afterwards, 'cause I hit a horse once, I hired a four-wheel drive in Darwin and got the full insurance out.

“Just as I am leaving, the guy says to me, your only insured if you hit another car, and I go: ‘what do you mean by that?’

“He says for example you were to hit a horse, I had no idea there were wild horses, that they just roamed the country, and that they have a problem with the. Sure enough, I came over this hill coming back to get a flight and hit a horse. Frigging wasn’t insured.

“Then I saw you, and after the event, you told me told you had hit a kangaroo, I was dying to see you because I knew you weren’t insured.” Tommy replied explaining it was a six-grand payout.

Fans of the comedian flocked to social media to share their thoughts on the hilarious interview between the two comedy legends.

One Twitter user posted: “Got to love when two old friends, comedians sit down to have an unexpected chat.”

Another added: “Delighted to see one of the most brilliant joyous genuinely funny stand-ups I've ever been lucky enough to see.”

While one more posted: “Could've watched Tommy Tiernan chat with Jimeoin all night.”

This seemed to be generally agreed upon, with another adding: “Jimeoin one of the most underrated Irish comics ever.”

One more added that they remember a popular joke by the comedian, posting: “My son and I were regular viewers of Jimeoin show in Australia. I remember the flip-flop joke: What sound do you make if you lose one flip-flop? Flip, flip, flip…”

Lastly, one more Twitter user posted: “so happy to see Jimeoin on the show, such a legend.”
