The UFC belt got a major makeover, and it’s looking slick.
Mexican artists from Oaxaca, Jacobo and Maria Angeles, customized a replica UFC title for interim featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez ahead of his return to the cage Saturday.

“El Pantera” fights in the main event of UFC 290 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He takes on UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski in a title unification bout.
Rodriguez (16-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) won the interim featherweight title in February and secured a shot at the champion with an impressive showing against Josh Emmett at UFC 284 in Australia.
The same night, Alexander Volkanovski came up short in his attempt to become a two-division UFC champion and lost a competitive decision to lightweight champ Islam Makhachev. The fight with Rodriguez will mark Volkanovski’s (25-2 MMA, 12-1 UFC) return to the featherweight division.
