Embattled Michigan staffer Connor Stalions, the man at the center of the NCAA sign stealing investigation, is seen in a new video during the 2022 Ohio State-Michigan matchup relaying Buckeyes offensive signals to his players.
The video below, courtesy of Adam King in Columbus, shows Stalions next to Michigan defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, as Stalions reads Ohio State’s sideline signals before gesturing to the defense that a pass was coming.

It’s important to note that nothing that Stalions is doing in the footage above is illegal. Sign stealing is allowed, as long as it is not obtained through the use of video recording equipment. Additionally, teams cannot send scouts to opponents’ games ahead of time to record signals, which is what Stalions is being accused of doing at the center of the NCAA investigation.
There will certainly be more twists and turns to this investigation into the Wolverines program, which has ripped through its 2023 schedule to date. Michigan appears to be one of the top three teams in the sport over halfway through the season and is expected to be in the mix to compete for a national title by season’s end.
