An avid plane-watcher caught the moment a Ryanair plane attempted to land in Dublin Airport during Storm Dudley - with the aircraft skidding along the surface as it tried to get its wheels down.
Gusts of over 100km/h were recorded in some parts of Ireland on Wednesday as Storm Dudley raged across the island.
It caused havoc on the nations roads and in both the seas and the skies of Ireland.
Thanks to some expert handling by pilots and co-pilots, there were no major incidents reported involving planes on Wednesday, but there were some scary moments.
