Video shows horrific animal hoarding as inspectors find dogs stacked in crates in faeces-filled home

A couple kept dogs in crates piled on top of one another in a faeces-filled room.

Kieran Hands and April Pearce, both 32, have now been banned from keeping all animals for five years and given 18 week prison sentences - suspended for two years - following a sentencing at Blackburn Magistrates' Court on April 4, reports the Mirror.

In one small room there were 12 dogs, eight of which were living in wire cages stacked on top one of one another. The animals had no bedding, food or water. One dog called Tank was particularly distressed.
