A fire during riots on 17 October caused extensive damage to Limoges Town Hall in central France, leaving parts of the historic building destroyed.
Opened in 1883 and listed as a historic monument, the town hall suffered a collapsed roof, damaged corridors and stairwells, and extensive destruction inside.
