Video of Maxx Crosby trolling Bo Nix at the line of scrimmage goes viral

During the Denver Broncos‘ game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, veteran pass rusher Maxx Crosby trolled quarterback Bo Nix at the line of scrimmage, creating a moment captured by Fox cameras that has gone viral on social media.

Nix went up to the line to relay the play to his teammates and Crosby stood up and yelled, “Bo speak up! They don’t [expletive] know [the play]!” The audio was picked up by Fox’s microphones and aired during Sunday’s broadcast.

NFL defenders are not allowed to yell “hut” or “hike” or simulate a snap, but there’s nothing in the rulebook that prevents a defender from yelling at the quarterback before the play.

The moment has been quite a hit on Twitter/X.

Crosby ended the game with two sacks, but Nix and the Broncos got the last laugh in a 34-18 Denver victory. Nix had the best game of his career with two touchdown passes, a touchdown run and no turnovers.

Crosby’s trolling went viral, but Nix left the stadium with a win.
