Video: Jake Paul, Nate Diaz hand fight in first faceoff

DALLAS – Jake Paul and Nate Diaz engaged in their first faceoff ahead of their Aug. 5 boxing match following Tuesday’s press conference.

After a news conference that lasted approximately 45 minutes, Diaz and Paul stared each other down for the first time, squared off by their representatives Nakisa Bidarian, of Most Valuable Promotions, and Zach Rosenfield, of Real Fight Inc.

Paul and Diaz remained at distance, though a hand fight broke out during their faceoff opportunity. The news conference took place at American Airlines Center, the same venue that will host the fight.

Check out the video above to see how it all unfolded.

Diaz will compete in his first non-UFC combat sports contest since October 2006 when he takes on YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul in an eight-round bout at 185 pounds on Aug. 5.
