Juan Archuleta was successful in his return to Japan.
The former Bellator bantamweight champion picked up a unanimous decision win over Naoki Inoue this past Saturday on May 6 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo.
It was a tough fight for Archuleta. He was taken down early and controlled. He also got his back taken for an early portion of the fight. But Archuleta rallied later in the fight.

It was Archuleta’s (28-4) second fight in Japan. He previously fought on the Bellator MMA vs. Rizin event on New Year’s Eve and beat Soo Chul Kim by split decision.
The 35-year-old is on a three-fight winning streak. He lost to Raufeon Stots in the quarterfinals of Bellator’s bantamweight grand prix in April 2022 in a fight that was for the interim 135-pound title.
