There were joyous scenes on Dublin's O'Connell St as elated Argentina fans celebrated their country's famous World Cup win near the GPO.
In what was one of the most entertaining finals in recent memory, Argentina crept into a two-goal first half lead thanks to a Lionel Messi penalty followed by a sweet strike from Angel Di Maria.
However, two goals in two minutes from Kylian Mbappe stunned the South American side and saw the game head to extra-time.

The extra time period was every bit as frenetic as Messi again produced the goods for Argentina and looked to have won them the game with a right-footed follow-up effort crossing the line in the 108th minute.
However, with just two minutes to go in the second period of extra time, France were awarded a penalty.
Mbappe stepped up to convert from the spot for a second time and the game headed to penalties.
There, Argentina had goalkeeper Emi Martinez to thank as his saves contributed to a 4-2 win on penalties for Messi and Co.
That sent all in blue and white into a frenzy at the Lusail Stadium - but the match had been endured and enjoyed by plenty more around the world, and Dublin was no exception as fans watched the game anywhere they could.
Following the result, a large group of Argentina fans spilled out onto the busy O'Connell St thoroughfare and became united in songs and chants as they celebrated a third World Cup triumph - and Lionel Messi's first.
Around the well-known Spire gathered hundreds of football fans still visibly overawed and buzzing from the finale they had just watched.
As chants and car horns rang out, a Dublin Bus crept along the road slowly as it inched nearer to the crowds.
Given that the action in the World Cup had an afternoon kick off in Ireland, it would have been a long night of celebrations for the many Argentina fans living on Irish shores.
