A terrifying alleged assault on a 15-year-old boy has been captured on camera after he was seemingly "jumped" by a group in a park in Swansea. The teenager's mum, who has asked to remain anonymous for fear of repercussions for her son, told WalesOnline her boy was waiting to meet a friend in a park in Swansea on Wednesday, May 31 when he was approached by a "gang" of boys.
Almost immediately, members of the group hit and kicked him, the mum claims, with some members of the group using what look like makeshift weapons during the attack. Video footage appears to show several teenagers surround the boy and hit him for several seconds, before someone calls over to the group and they disperse.
The boy's mum says her son soon attempted to limp home after the ordeal but was approached on his way home by one of the group who "jumped" him again. The teenager was later taken to hospital and had to receive medical care for his injuries. For the latest Swansea news, sign up to our newsletter

"My son is a bit of a fighter, but he's not a bully. He struggles to maintain friendships, he's got some issues," she added.
"He thought this group wanted to be his friends [but later realised they didn't]. They could have killed him."
