Major disruption is expected on all lines through Victoria station due to a fire alert on Tuesday evening.
The disruption is affecting Southern trains and the Gatwick Express.
The first reports of the station being evacuated were shortly after 7.30pm.
National Rail later said Victoria Station had reopened, as well as train lines serving it, but issues were expected to blight the rail network until the end of the day.
“London Victoria station has reopened following a fire alarm sounding at the station earlier today and all lines have now reopened,” said National Rail late on Tuesday.
“Trains running to / from this station may continue to be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.”
