Delays are expected after a fire broke out by tracks leading to Victoria Station as London is set to swelter in 31C heat.
Firefighters tackled the blaze on the approach to the central London commuter hub about 6am on Monday.
Trains were initially stopped and others diverted through Cannon Street or Blackfriars as firefighters battled to put out the fire.

Most lines leading to Victoria have now reopened but passengers are being warned about cancellations and delays until 10am as services return to normal.
A statement by Southeastern Railways said: “The fire is out and most lines at London Victoria are now open. Trains are now able to run to and from Victoria, but trains on all routes to the station may still be altered or cancelled while we work to return services to normal.”
The London Fire Brigade has been approached for comment.
Elsewhere, Mill Hill Broadway was blocked by emergency services attending an incident at Mill Hill Station, where a person was hit by a train.
