If you think you've heard the last of quiet luxury, think again. Sure, bolder colors and patterns are clawing their way back into the sartorial limelight. After all, no one can be quiet forever. While the once certified obsession's power is definitely waning and it may never be back in full force (that's why they call them trends), dressing in a subtle yet sophisticated style or bringing rich mom energy is probably going to keep on existing in some form or another. Especially if Victoria Beckham has anything to say about it.
The designer and beauty mogul is partnering with moderately-priced retailer Mango on a collection. Makes total sense since Mango has pretty much everything you need to achieve quiet luxury on a budget. We realize that seems slightly contradictory, but we all don't have the funds to 100 percent nail the luxury part.
Victoria Beckham x Mango takes inspiration from the French film La Piscine, especially Jane Birkin's character. We've only caught a glimpse of what's to come, but it looks pretty darn good. We're talking knitwear, suits, slip dresses and even accessories. The color palette is well-suited to summer. Something you'd expect due to the timing of its release and the fact that the movie is set in the French Riviera near St. Tropez.
This definitely isn't your standard poolside fare. It's less lounging around and more parties surrounding any body of water. According to Mango, it's a collection "where deconstructed silhouettes combine with high-quality materials, revisiting and elevating traditional closet staples with a new and contemporary perspective."
