They've been the ultimate celebrity power couple since they met as a fresh-faced Spice Girl and England footballer back in 1997.
And now, their new Netflix documentary will “tell the inside” story about David Beckham’s career. It is set to be released on October 4. About the documentary, Victoria Beckham said she wanted it to show her “human side” and to end decades of her “burying everything”.
“It was a difficult decision for Victoria and David about whether to go ahead with the documentary or not - but for Victoria, it was a sort of therapy,” a source told OK! Magazine. “It was important for her to share her story, it wasn’t about showing people how strong they were, but showing her human side.
“It was easier at times for David, but for her it was difficult to open up because she buries everything.
“They don’t need the money, but this was important to Victoria for people to know the real her, and to know what they’ve been through as a family.”
It will feature some of their hardest battles, including receiving kidnap threats against their newborn son and being sent bullets through the post, as well as the ins and outs of their careers. It will also feature David Beckham retelling the story of how he didn’t “sleep” or “eat” after he was blamed for England’s World Cup 1998 exit.
While Victoria and David Beckham have had their highs and lows over the course of their 26-year romance, they have remained united as “Brand Beckham” went global.
Nearly two decades after tying the knot, the couple have four children, Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, and 12-year-old Harper and a number of businesses and charity projects to their name.

“It was only afterwards that I realized how appropriate it was because it was in New York that I found out I was pregnant and where David came after the World Cup.”
July 1999 – Victoria and David become The Beckhams

Beckham never publically commented on Loos’ claims but issued a statement, which read: “During the past few months I have become accustomed to reading more and more ludicrous stories about my private life.
“The simple truth is that I am very happily married. I have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing any third party can do to change these facts.”
