Chelsea's transfer spend under new co-owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital has already surpassed the half-a-billion-pound mark after less than a year at the helm. The summer saw a host of additions to help deal with a number of huge losses in the squad, though few of those signings have had quite the impact that was expected.
January saw heavy investment once again, but this time focus switched towards adding young players with plenty of potential for the future. Eight signings were made and the owners will be hopeful that it will give Graham Potter the boost he needs to make a late surge towards top four at the end of the season.
"Everybody that has been in this room over the last four months, the word that we've always spoken about is pressure," Graham Potter said when asked about the large sum spent so far. "So that isn't going to change. Clearly, if you spend money, the external noise goes up. I understand that. I've also said that resources are one thing and spending money is another."

However, despite such a large outlay, there's still issues that need to be combatted when it comes to building the rest of the squad. The main area is at centre-forward, where Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looks set to move on in the next few months, leaving few options to choose from.
Fabrizio Romano reports that it is somewhere the Blues will be looking to improve in the summer, so with that said, here's a look at four strikers they could look to land.
Victor Osimhen
The qualities of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen are well known at this stage, with plenty of Premier League clubs sure to be monitoring a potential transfer. The Nigerian forward has helped galvanise a push for the Scudetto this campaign and a mix of his physical presence and goal scoring ability make him a tricky customer.
At 24-years-old he isn't at his peak yet, suggesting there could be more to come, however the Azzurri are typically tough negotiators and any move could be costly - especially with Manchester United rumoured to be interested.
Harry Kane
It may be a far-fetched transfer, but Chelsea could turn towards proven Premier League experience in attempting to sign Harry Kane. The forward became just the third player to score 200 Premier League goals and reached all-time top scorer status at Tottenham recently.
The one thing he is missing is trophies in his cabinet and with his contract dwindling, a move away from Spurs in the near future could be enticing. However, whether the Blues are a viable option remains to be seen, while the club's recent transfer policy may go against his signing. And yet again, Manchester United have been linked with a move.
Ivan Toney
Another down the route of Premier League experience is Brentford striker Ivan Toney, who has continually offered plenty in his all-round play as well as his goals. At 26-years-old he is reaching towards his peak years while giving plenty for the future, though there may be concerns surrounding a move.
Current charges from the FA may put any doubt over a deal while there is uncertainty surrounding the outcome.
Randal Kolo Muani
One player some may have caught a glimpse of during the World Cup was France international Randal Kolo Muani, who often impressed and changed games from the bench for his nation. The 24-year-old has taken that form into the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring nine and assisting 12 goals in 18 appearances.
He could be a lower cost option to land, adding versatility as well as quality and potential for the future.
