Victim's family hails law reform triggered by tragedy

The family of a man fatally stabbed at work say his "lasting legacy" of tougher bail laws and weapon searches is making the community safer.

Declan Laverty, 20, was killed at a Darwin bottle shop in 2023 by a man out on bail, triggering stricter legislation for the Northern Territory.
